Debbie Wong is a speaker, singer, and author who offers a complete package through spoken word and song. Debbie’s presentations flow from her desire
to encourage those who have become stuck in a Christian rut. Her conversational style of speaking makes you feel as if you are chatting with a good friend. Her stories and Biblical teachings
illuminate the lessons and provide each listener with “food for thought.” Her songs melt the heart and allow God’s message to take root.
Debbie founded Heart’s Desire Ministries when she began living her own heart’s desire. Moving through life afraid to take risks, she rose above her
fear to start her own business as a computer consultant as well as this ministry. “I want to encourage others to experience the freedom we have in Christ. It is amazing what we can accomplish
when we are confident God is on our side.”
Debbie has spoken at both secular and Christian events, retreats, MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers), Christian Women’s Clubs, writer’s conferences,
luncheons, banquets, schools, board meetings, teas, Bible studies and outreach events. Her messages are interspersed with song, practical application, Biblical truths and a clear presentation of
the gospel. Debbie is an accredited CLASS Communicator through Christian Leaders, Authors and Speakers Seminars.
Vocally, Debbie has been singing her whole life, from church choir to vocal teams to a Christmas caroling group. She just stepped down from her role
of many years as the worship leader for Pasadena’s First Church of the Nazarene’s women’s Bible Study. In the past, Debbie served as the worship director for Mariner’s Church’s Weekly Communion
Service. After private training for several years through Azusa Pacific University, she joined a professional choir and recorded several CDs.
Debbie released her first solo CD, “Heart’s Desire”. From grand orchestral pieces to upbeat pop tunes, “Heart’s Desire” will fill your soul with song. Debbie co-authored "Weddings 101", an inspirational gift book/wedding planner and is a contributing author in "Here Comes The Bride: Chicken Soup for the Soul", "An Expressive Heart" by Kathy Collard Miller and "Hugs: Bible Reflections for Women" by Mindy Ferguson. Her article, “Singled Out” was published in Quest.
Debbie is a busy mom of three teenagers in the Southern California area.
